The three Trinitarian Principles of our benefice are below

    text

  • We have three Trinitarian Principles on which the benefice is founded.

These Principles are based on our baptism promises.

We believe and trust in God the Father, source of all being and life, the one for whom we exist. We therefore affirm all our churches are working for the kingdom of God throughout the benefice.

We believe in God the Son, who took our human nature, died for us and rose again. We therefore affirm that all our churches are equal and are independent with their own character and calling and are also interdependent on one another in the ministry and mission of the Church in our area.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who gives life to the people  of God and makes Christ known in the world. We therefore affirm that each church will be supported by the benefice in its mission and ministry whilst in turn will support the other churches.
